JOIN A WESLEY SMALL GROUP TODAY

A new semester of Wesley Groups begins THIS WEEK. It’s the perfect time to either join a small group or maybe re-engage in your existing group. Wesley Groups are where we come together with other members of our church family to grow, learn, and share life with each other. Visit our website to find a group that meets your individual needs for day, time, and location.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Reynoldsburg Community Church

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – JUNE 19-22

It’s not too late to register for this year’s Vacation Bible School (VBS)! Kids Pre-K (must be 5 years-old by August 1) through 4th Grade (just completed) can join us Monday through Thursday, June 19 through 22 from 6:15 until 8:30pm. The whole family can enjoy a free meal each evening from 5:15 until 6:00pm before the evening fun begins! More details can be obtained by clicking the button below.

EVERYONE is encouraged to help service at VBS—from Middle Schoolers through Amazing Greys Seniors! You can help with younger kids (Pre-K / Kindergarten) or with elementary ages. OR if you’d rather, we have opportunities on our media team, kitchen team, decorations, registration, etc. There’s something FOR EVERYONE! Email Laura McCoy, and she’ll be happy to find a perfect fit.

WELCOME NEW CONFIRMANDS

Last Sunday, we celebrated with five of our students who have recently completed confirmation. Our five new Confirmands are (pictured above from left to right): Winston Meyer, Ryland Naish, Ella Nation, Azariah Furniss, & William Anderson. These students have completed five months of special lessons, a one-day camp, service project, and a celebration dinner together. They were received into membership in the church last week at the 10:30am worship service as they reaffirmed for themselves the faith expressed by their parents at their baptisms. Join us in welcoming these newest members of Reynoldsburg Community Church!

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRIP TO ZOOMBEZI BAY

Students in 5th through 8th grade will be heading to Zoombezi Bay on Friday, June 16. Meet at the church building by the Student Center in the front parking lot at 10am. Please come pre-sun-screened and in your swimsuit (with clothes over top) and bring a towel! We’ll have extra sunscreen with us, and we’ll be sure to re-apply at snack and lunch time, too. Snacks and drinks will be provided. You need to pack your own lunch (which we’ll store in coolers until lunch time). Students are encouraged to eat breakfast beforehand—and to leave cell phones and expensive items at home that could be lost or stolen. We’ll return to the church building at approximately 5:30pm. Cost is $33.99 per student. If you’d like to chaperone and drive, email Tiffany. Sign up by clicking the button below!

STUDENT MINISTRIES SUMMER SCHEDULES

The Hub Middle School Ministry and The Forge High School Ministry both continue to meet during the summer. New friends are always invited to join us!

See below for some highlights of their summer schedules:

  • The Hub Middle school students attend the 10:30am Contemporary Worship Service together and then gather for lunch afterward. On Wednesdays, they gather for mid-week meetups at 6:30pm in the Student Center. To learn more, email Middle School Minister Tiffany Jones. She’ll be glad to connect with you!
  • The Forge High School students meet in small groups on Monday evenings (in leaders’ homes) and for a mid-week worship gathering each Wednesday in the Student Center at 6:30pm (the ONLY exceptions are June 14 & 21). Email our High School and Young Adult Minister Andy Hass to learn more.

We hope to see you this summer!

SUMMER BREAK FOR PRESCHOOL  FALL REGISTRATION IS OPEN

The Reynoldsburg Community Church Preschool held their year-end picnics last week for students and their families. Teachers enjoyed sharing a portfolio of the children’s activities and progress for the whole year. Thanks to all who attended!

Our preschool offers an exciting Christian-based education for children 3 through 5 years of age. We provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and expand their world. Using the Ohio Department of Education’s Early Learning and Development Standards, we strive to create a strong foundation that guides children towards healthy relationships and love for learning.

If your family or someone you know is seeking a wonderful preschool experience, click here for more details—or click the button below to register for the upcoming school year.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

If you sew, knit, or crochet, you’re invited to join thius newly formed ministry. Beginners are welcome, too. Learning is easy, and we’re here to help.  Our NEXT gathering is Saturday, June 17 at 9:30am in Room 110. Email Gail Bloom for more information.

If you know of someone who is experiencing grief or going through an illness, they might benefit from a prayer shawl. Each of our shawls are prayed over specifically for the individual to whom it’s being given. Every time they use their prayer shawl, they’ll be reminded of how our church family is praying with them for wholeness and healing. If you know of someone who would benefit from a shawl, click the button below to submit a request.
