CHRISTMAS HYMN SING
Join us THIS Sunday, December 3 at 4pm in the Bauserman Sanctuary for a special time of singing familiar Christmas hymns, prayer, reflection, and a special performance from our children’s choir. This event will be in-person only so make plans to attend. Bring your family, friends, and small group as we sing the hymns of the season together!

BLUE CHRISTMAS SERVICE
If you find Christmas is a difficult time and are seeking an alternative to the traditional celebrations, plan to attend our Blue Christmas service on Sunday, December 17 at 6pm in the Bauserman Sanctuary. This is a time of encouragement and remembrance planned to help you during this season.

CHRISTMAS OUTREACH
This year, you can share the warmth and joy of the Christmas season with foster teens and children in the state of Ohio. Your love and generosity will help ensure they feel “seen” and loved. You can participate and donate by December 11 in any of the following ways:
1) One Church Foster Teen Christmas Outreach:
Foster Teen Outreach provides $25 gift cards to all teens in Ohio’s foster care system. This annual campaign originated at One Church in 2019 to help ensure foster teens receive intentional love and support during the holidays. We’re excited to partner with them this year through your donation of gift cards or other monetary donation.
What You Can Give: $25 gift cards to restaurants and retail stores OR a monetary donations so we can purchase gift cards. Many of these teens live in rural areas, so we’re requesting cards for retail stores that have an online presence and/or restaurants that likely have locations in most rural counties. Recommended stores/restaurants include: Walmart, Target, Old Navy, Taco Bell, McDonald’s, and Wendy’s. Bring your gift cards to the church building. On Sundays, drop them in the clear, acrylic boxes located outside each worship space. Other than Sundays, donations can be dropped off at the reception desk.
2) Franklin County Children Services Suitcases for Children:
We’re also partnering with Franklin County Children Services to provide small suitcases for children of all ages in Franklin County who are entering the foster care system. A simple, but caring gift like a suitcase can help a child feel some sense of security in a time of change and uncertainty. Pack up some love and share your generosity by donating a new suitcase for a foster child this Christmas!
What You Can Give: Bring a new, carry-on-size or smaller suitcase with wheels. The children don’t pack a lot, but a new, small suitcase will make it easy for them to handle their belongings.
* One quarter of our Thanksgiving Special Offering this year will also be directed to our Christmas Outreach for foster teens and children.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES
Join us for Christmas Eve Services on Sunday evening, December 24. We’ll be offering identical candlelight services at 5pm and 7pm in the downstairs Worship Center—featuring our Chancel Choir, worship team, chamber orchestra and bell choir. Childcare will be available for children 5 and under, and both services will be live-streamed on our website.
On Christmas Eve morning, Sunday, December 24, we’ll have TWO worship services—one traditional service at 9am in the Bauserman Sanctuary—and our contemporary service at 10:30am in the Worship Center. The traditional service at 11:30am will resume the following Sunday, December 31.

POINSETTIA ORDERS
Order poinsettias to help beautify our worship spaces for the Christmas season. Cost is $8.25 per plant, and deadline to order is THIS Monday, December 4 at 12 noon. Stop by the Connection Center between services to pick up an order form or purchase online by clicking the order button below. Poinsettia plants may be picked up following each of the Christmas Eve services.

Families are welcome to join us THIS Saturday, December 9 from 10:00 to 11:30am for our annual Gingerbread Bash. This fun, interactive experience is designed for the whole family! We’ll build gingerbread nativities, play games, sing songs, hear the Christmas story from the Bible, and discover that sometimes the best gift comes in an ordinary box. It’s a truly sweet way for your family to celebrate the birth of Jesus together! Click the button below to save your spot!

BUCKEYE SALE
The RCC Womens’ Circles will be holding their annual Buckeye Candy Sale NEXT Sunday, December 10 between morning worship services. Just in time for the Christmas season, the cost is $6 for a dozen. Proceeds from the sale will help fund mission groups supported by our Womens’ Circles.

STUDENT CHRISTMAS GATHERING
Attention High School and Middle Schoolers! It’s time to celebrate on Friday, December 15 from 7 until 11pm during our annual Christmas Party! Enter from the upstairs parking lot using the Student Center doors. With our late ending time, parents will need to come in and sign out your student at the end of the event. As alway, friends are welcome! They just need to provide an emergency contact number when signing in. We’ll have games, food, and tons of fun! Wear your ugly sweater for a chance to win gift cards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-place winners. Please bring a dozen cookies to share. If you’re home baking, please include a list of ingredients for those with allergies to be safe.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
Do you know someone who is experiencing grief or going through an illness? Our Prayer Shawl ministry can provide a shawl which is prayed over specifically for the individual to whom it’s being given. Every time they use their prayer shawl, they’ll be reminded our church family is praying with them for wholeness and healing. If you know of someone we could bless with a shawl, click the button below to submit a request.
If you sew, knit, or crochet, you’re invited to join us on the third Saturday of each month. Beginners are welcome, too. Learning is easy, and we’re here to help. Our NEXT gathering is Saturday, December 19 at 9:30am in Room 110. Email Gail Bloom for more information.
