Welcome to Pathway Kids!
Our Children’s Ministry will engage your kids in fun, learning, and connecting to Jesus. Children’s Ministry guides infants through 5th-graders on Sundays, Wednesdays, and special occasions. It’s always a safe, supportive environment where kids experience God’s love. Your child will learn God made them, God loves them, and He wants to be their best friend forever.
Safety First
We have a passion for child safety and believe every child deserves a chance to grow and learn in a safe environment. That’s why our children’s classrooms are in a keycode protected hallway. All individuals working with the kids are trained and have been background checked. Additionally, we utilize a web-based children’s check-in system called “Church Teams” that is easy and simple for parents to use and update, yet provides the necessary security features to give parents peace of mind.Â
Schedule
Sunday Mornings: 10:30 am
- NURSERY: Infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years) are cared for by loving staff and servant leaders in secure rooms with age-appropriate activities and toys.
- PRE-K: Pre-Kindergarteners (age 3 and potty-trained through 5 years) experience age-appropriate worship and activities using the “First Look” curriculum.
- K-5th GRADE: Following check-in, children will be escorted to their grade specific Small Group classroom. In large group, the children experience an engaging Bible lesson, followed by interactive activities in their small group spaces.
Wednesday Evenings: 6:30 – 8 pm
- KIDS CLUB (K-5th Grade, Year-Round): Kids Club is a fun, interactive hour that’s a little more “laid back” than Sunday morning classes. It’s an easy space for new kids to jump in and meet new friends! There is time for play, a video-based Bible lesson that reinforces our Sunday topic, games, and music.
- NURSERY: Infants-PreK are cared for by loving staff and servant leaders in secure rooms with age-appropriate activities and toy
Join our team of trained leaders who feel called to serve our families with children with special needs. In addition to our regular orientation/training process for Children’s Ministry servants, you’ll receive additional training to help you feel empowered, set you up for success, and equip you to serve. Buddy Ministry
In the Bible, Mark 16:15 says “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”Â
Providing a safe place for ALL children to learn about Jesus and grow closer to Him is our highest priority.
Children ages Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade with special needs are provided a “buddy” to help them navigate our programs and ministries. We’ll help them grow in a relationship with Christ in a safe and accepting environment. The spirit of the Buddy Ministry is one of inclusion.
We focus on each individual’s ability—not their disability. Our ministry strives to create a space that meets the specific learning and social needs of each child. We work with each family to ensure a safe and positive experience.
Joyful Noise
Our Joyful Noise worship service is held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in Room 102. This is a celebration and worship gathering for young adults and children with special needs and circumstances. We’ll enjoy music, a story or learning activity, and prayer circle. Let’s have fun together and joyfully share our love for the Lord!
