Children’s Ministry at Reynoldsburg Community Church

Fun, Interactive Worship, Activities, & Lessons for Your Children

Our Children’s Ministry will engage your kids in fun, learning, and connecting to Jesus. Children’s Ministry guides infants through 4th-graders on Sundays, Wednesdays, and special occasions. It’s always a safe, supportive environment where kids experience God’s love. Your child will learn God made them, God loves them, and He wants to be their best friend forever.

Sunday and Wednesday Programming Schedule

Safety First

We have a passion for child safety and believe every child deserves a chance to grow and learn in a safe environment. That’s why our children’s classrooms are in a keycode protected hallway. All individuals working with the kids are trained and have been background checked. Additionally, we utilize a web-based children’s check-in system called “Church Teams” that is easy and simple for parents to use and update, yet provides the necessary security features to give parents peace of mind. Click the button below to pre-register your child for programming using our Church Teams database.

Sunday Mornings 10:30 am

NURSERY: Infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years) are cared for by loving staff and servant leaders in secure rooms with age-appropriate activities and toys.

PRE-K: Pre-Kindergarteners (age 3 and potty-trained through 5 years) experience age-appropriate worship and activities during the “First Look” curriculum.

K-4th GRADE: Following check-in, children will be escorted to their grade specific Small Group classroom. In large group, the children experience a lesson about the Big God Story using the “Go” curriculum, followed by interactive activities in their small group spaces.

Sunday Mornings 11:30 am

CHILDCARE: Provided for infants through 4th-grade during the 11:30 am Traditional Service

Wednesday Evenings 6:30 – 7:30 pm

KIDS CLUB (K-4th Grade, September – May): Kids Club is a fun, interactive hour that’s a little more “laid back” than Sunday morning classes. It’s an easy space for new kids to jump in and meet new friends! There is time for play, a video-based Bible lesson that reinforces our Sunday topic, games, and music.

NURSERY: Infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years) are cared for by loving staff and servant leaders in secure rooms with age-appropriate activities and toys.

Kid’s Worship Experience at Home

If you aren’t able to join us for in-person worship…we’ve still got an awesome worship experience for YOU!  It’s time for kids’ church at home!! Watch a video in the style of a fun, morning talk show for kids. Best of all, it’s designed to help your children learn and grow in their walk with God. Then, all week, join us on our FACEBOOK page to keep you engaged! Feel free to share with family and friends.

Inclusive options for those with special needs

Sensory Room

Reynoldsburg Community Church wants every child/student to have a place where they belong and feel safe.  A classroom or large worship space with music and lots of people might not be the best environment for everyone.  So…Imagine a softly lit, quiet space filled with soft pillows and a cozy swing. That’s right, we’re talking about a sensory room or multi-sensory environment. This room provides a safe and calming environment for children/students that might be feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated. Everything in the space is carefully chosen and placed so that individuals who have difficulties integrating their senses can chill and relax in an engaging and calming manner.

Currently, the Sensory Room is available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for children/students participating in our programming. We would love to serve every child that would benefit from the use of the sensory room. However, due to safety reasons for all children/students, we ask that parents first contact Laura McCoy, our Minister of Children,  to establish information regarding the needs of the child and guidelines for use of the space. The Sensory Room is a wonderful blessing to the church, to the families and children that we serve, and the volunteers who work with the children
