From June 24-27, 2026, our lay delegates, Debbie Broehm and Joel Harper, attended Allegheny West Annual Conference at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. This year’s theme of Multiply Disciples was promoted throughout the teaching and business sessions.
It was refreshing to see so many Reynoldsburg Community Church volunteers at the conference. From registration to golf cart shuttles to event coordination and more, there were many from our church serving at annual conference. If you would like to serve next year, look for registration next year on the website here: https://alleghenywestgmc.org/

- Motorcycles – $13,500 for 10 motorcycles at $1,350 each to allow 10 Presiding Elders to travel their circuits
- Transportation – $35,000 for one used SUV to give Conference Superintendent Rev. Okolo dependable transportation as she travels the conference
- Education – $19,950 for 4 doctoral students, 1 master’s student and 7 bachelor’s students

- Partnership Escrow – $30,000 for a bridge fund to help meet needs while we build direct connections between circuits in Allegheny West and West Congo.
Jeff Greenway updated us throughout the conference as to what was collected and the last report heard was that we were over $300,000. Well done Allegheny West!
Dan Gildner was announced as the new Associate Conference Superintendent for Allegheny West Conference. He takes over as the Conference Superintendent when our current Superintendent, Jeff Greenway, retires. Jeff said this will happen on or before April 1st, 2027.
Dan announced that he will be visiting each circuit across Allegheny West Conference for a time of connection, worship and prayer. Our Columbus East event will be on August 10, 2026, at Reynoldsburg Community Church. The clergy will meet at 3 PM that day with a worship gathering for everyone at 7 PM. All votes during this conference passed unanimously and there was great community among all the attendees. It really was a wonderful time of fellowship, worship and reporting.
